Directions to the Run for the Pineapple (5/26/08) |

From the South: Take I-95 to exit 101 (the SR 76 Stuart Indiantown exit) and then go northeast 6.2 miles to Confusion Corner, cross the railroad tracks and take the first right (East Ocean Blvd). Go east 3.3 miles, cross the drawbridge, and park in Harbor Bay Plaza on the right. From the North: Take I-95 Midway Road exit 126, and go east until it dead-ends at Indian River Drive, then turn right (south) 7 or 9 miles to East Ocean Boulevard. Park in the Harbor Bay Plaza on the right. |

The month of May is really flying by. In 2 weeks the Sailfish Strider Annual Picnic will be held at the Stuart Beach on Sunday May 18th from 2pm -6pm. Everyone is welcome, all members and those who are interested in finding out more about the Sailfish Striders and becoming Members. All you will need to do is bring a side dish or desert and the Striders will provide the barbeque from Sonny’s. there will be plenty of things to do for the whole family. There is a covered Playground for the Kids not to mention the Beach. Please RSVP to Noelle at 772-879-6812 or Laurie email: lcdfpeterson@aol.com .
After the Picnic a week later on Monday May 26 7:30 the Sailfish Striders will be holding the Run for the Pineapple 5K in Sewall’s Point. We are expecting over 300 runners for the event. In order to provide a wonderful experience, we need a number of volunteers to assist in the race day activities. We will need volunteers for registration, finish line, food, water stops, and results. If you are interested in assisting the club please let me know at auburn1984@bellsouth.net ,
