SUNDAY MORNINGS Each Sunday morning between 5 and 6 a.m., a large cult-like group of runners meets at Charlie and Bonny Wolff's house near the corner of Indian Street and St. Lucie Blvd. for runs from 5 to 20+ miles, depending on the weather and the time of the year. Coffee, bagels, an outside hot shower and a pool to cool off in afterwards is just part of the fun! MONDAY EVENINGS Every Monday night a hardy band of very competitive runners leaves from Pete Weiler's office in Stuart at 7:00 pm sharp for a 5-mile jaunt across the new Roosevelt Bridge and back into downtown Stuart. The miles are marked, the splits are negative, and the pace is mostly blistering (except for big fat slow guys like Mike Melton). A post-run dinner at a local restaurant caps off the evening. To get to Pete's office, take U.S. Highway 1 to West Ocean Blvd (it's the second traffic light south of the Roosevelt Bridge) and go west (towards downtown Stuart) to Camden Avenue (it's the last street you get to right before you enter Confusion Corner). Turn right (south) onto Camden and go a block and a half to Pete's office at 503 South Camden Ave. |

SATURDAY MORNING WALKS Every Saturday morning, rain or shine, we open our doors for a 6 A.M. run and walk. Whether you want to walk a few times a week for fitness or begin to train to walk a half marathon, we'll give you the guidance to help you achieve your goals. The hardest part is, literally, the first step - that step out of bed when the alarm goes off. Meet us this week and every week thereafter, we welcome men and women and all levels of experience. SATURDAY MORNING RUNS Whether you're training for a marathon or want to keep a good base up with your long run, join the group on Saturday mornings at 6 A.M. for your weekly long run. There are some runners who run 10 miles, others might just want to do 5, or you can do your 20 miler. We provide water at stops through neighborhoods and the downtown area so that you don't have to worry about hydration, you can just head out the door and run. Some people are fast, some are not so fast - whatever your pace, start with this group and leave your keys here at the store. FLEET FEET FUN RUN On Wednesday evenings at 6:00 people meet to run from here to the bridge, which is 3 miles, or go over the bridge for some hill work, which is 5.4 miles. Come and join the group for some nice company and get your midweek run done. We meet out back for snacks after the run to talk; you might meet someone from your area that can join you for other runs throughout the week.
